Went Saturday lunch time. Staff friendly helpful and adhered to COVID regs. No food on when we went but service excellent. Have advice on where we could get food so nice stayed for a drink. Place was quite and had traditional decoration. Will go again.
A complete surprise for us as we were on our hunt for a vegan friendly eatery, we were led through the pub to the secret Indian restaurant out back. As the combo of very English pub and Indian restaurant seemed a little jarring, our expectation went high. We were very pleasantly surprised to find the food was excellent! They catered to our dietary restrictions with no fuss at all, as it's all part of the menu layout- pick your sauce, then pick your meat, or not meat in our case (of which we could choose several options) . A hidden gem. Highly recommended. And very friendly hosts.
The accommodation is very spacious and spotlessly clean. All of the staff are very welcoming and accommodating to our needs. The Indian restaurant is by far the best we've eaten in, all of the dishes we tried were of fantastic quality, incredibly tasty and presented in an authentic way. A lovely atmosphere and the landlords are the friendliest people in Lostwithiel. Worth more than 5*.
Great place for a weekend away. Clean rooms, good breakfast and great staff. Had a live band on the friday night who were pretty good! Would stay here again of I was down Lostwithial way again.
Lovely friendly careing pub hotel made so welcome lovely breakfast Sarah was amazing. We had all my family there and she entertained us cannot thank them enough for makeing my 92 year old mum feel special nothing was to much trouble. Room very clean.. Dog Friendly loved it all very much
Traditional Cornish pub wish good beer but go through the back door and you're in a real Indian restaurant with a good menu and cooked very well. Pricing is on the same level as the rest of UK.
What a beautiful pub this is! Such a friendly warm welcome from "Mr D", Chloe, Michelle and the regulars!...the indian restaurant was lovely and cooked to perfection (tandoori chicken was lush!) The open fire was a very VERY warm welcome . ..we spent more time there than our hotel! Thank you to all of you and sorry we didn't come back for the band but will book next year!
Very nice and clean We only stayed there one night but we enjoyed it Comfy beds and pillows in a nice clean room I would recommend it and definitely will go back when will be in the area
